In addition to synthesizing existing research, we plan to develop new interdisciplinary research projects that address major knowledge gaps such as how forest restoration affects livelihoods, how climate change affects forest regeneration and restoration, identifying the factors that affect success of forest and landscape restoration projects, and methodologies to prioritize restoration interventions at the landscape scale.
